Questions recur across the practice and change as they move through materials, scales and sites. Some develop over years as artistic research; others take form as site-specific proposals, exhibitions and curatorial projects.

I. MORPHOGENESIS
1998–2013
Where does form begin?
Developed through painting, glass and printmaking, MORPHOGENESIS follows how form emerges through repeated material experimentation and how one work can leave a question active for the next.

II. LIQUID FRAGMENTATION
2014–2019
How does form fragment and reorganise?
The project follows fragmentation, repetition and changes of scale across painting, ceramic elements,relief and installation, as forms are broken apart and reorganised under new material conditions.

ALUX
Guardián Ancestral
ALUX is a site-specific sculptural proposal developed for Metepec. The work was conceived in relation tothe architecture and atmosphere of the site, using the proposed installation to test scale, presence and the encounter between sculpture and place.

TZOMPANTLI: Un viaje através de los tiempos

Thirty national and international artists intervened a life-size skull form designed by Carlos Plata. Theexhibition brought the works together through a shared spatial structure developed around memory, ritualand the Day of the Dead.The project continues in 2026, with Romero Nieto returning as participating artist and co-curator.
